When we found our building in May 2008, and signed our lease
in June, we anticipated we would be open as early as July. However, the best laid plans of dogs and men, are not without
their challenges. So after three months of permits, inspections, demolition, construction, renovation, blood, sweat
and tears (not to mention a few dollars) we were ready to open to the public. Below you will see some before and after photos to document our journey!

The original black and yellow exterior might have been appropriate for a bumble
bee day care! Ofcourse, this old flower shop probably attracted bees without the sunny color scheme.
Our new exterior proves to be easier on the eyes! It houses 2000 square
feet of usable space and has an easy access parking zone right in front of the building for convenient drop off
and pick up.

With walls removed, and fences and gates attached, our little dogs will have ample
space to run and play!
Hard to believe that flowers could have caused this much damage to this stucture...and
we thought dogs were the only ones to get destructive when bored!
With all walls replaced, and a new anti-skid rubber floor that is easy on those big
dog joints, our furry friends should enjoy their new digs!
